Midjourney Style Consistency
A coherent set of six images is harder than one attractive image. Course covers, campaigns, social channels and product series need a repeatable visual system.
#Fix the shared variables
Establish a palette, camera/framing approach, material language and prompt skeleton. Useful definitions include warm neutral/cool technology/dark luxury palettes, centered/editorial/product framing, matte/glass/film/paper materials, and calm/premium/soft moods.
#Separate fixed and variable parts
Keep the primary style, ratio and camera language stable; vary the subject or setting. Compare against approved examples instead of adding more adjectives each round.
Where supported, Style Reference, a fixed --sv version, a consistent ratio and a shared prompt skeleton can help. Verify compatibility in the selected version.
text[subject variable], same palette, same lens feeling, same material language, same composition style, [shared visual direction], --ar [fixed ratio]
#Why consistency matters
Campaigns lose recognition when imagery drifts. Course series stop looking related, social feeds feel fragmented and product assets look as though unrelated teams created them.
#Diagnose drift
If individual images clash as a set, define palette and camera rules. If keywords keep multiplying, reduce them to core variables. If later results deteriorate, preserve versioned prompts and approved samples. If teammates cannot reproduce the style, share a template and reference board rather than keeping the rules in one person's memory.
#Production records
Retain the prompt skeleton, palette notes, approved references and failure examples. Iterate within that system rather than finding the style again each time.
