Midjourney Quality Checklist
Atmosphere alone does not make an image deliverable. Review both the image itself and its intended placement.
#First pass: does the image work alone?
Check an immediately recognizable subject, uncrowded composition, plausible lighting/materials and obvious deformations or strange details. Resolve these before discussing brand consistency.
#Second pass: can it be delivered?
Check title/action space, destination ratio, consistency with the series and sufficient resolution. A striking standalone image may still fail in the real layout.
#Three early priorities
The subject should remain clear as a thumbnail, survive the planned crop and belong with the rest of the assets. A serious failure in any one is a reason to reject it.
#Review reference behavior
With Style Reference, check that the actual visual system was retained, not merely a vague atmosphere. With Omni Reference, inspect whether the intended character/object remains recognizable rather than only vaguely similar.
#Build review judgment
Keep one accepted image, one near miss, a sentence explaining acceptance and a sentence explaining rejection. Comparing delivered results teaches more than storing prompts alone.
