Output Specifications and Ratios
Choose the destination ratio and actual available export size before generation. Prompt text alone does not guarantee a resolution tier.
#Source-guide canvas examples
The following are planning examples from the original guide, not universal current platform requirements. Confirm the destination's accepted sizes and crop behavior before publishing.
| Use | Example ratio/canvas |
|---|---|
| WeChat article cover | About 2.35:1, such as 900 × 383 |
| Article illustration | 16:9 or 4:3, such as 1080 × 608/810 |
| Xiaohongshu portrait | 3:4, such as 1080 × 1440 |
| Vertical video/story | 9:16, such as 1080 × 1920 |
| Square social/product | 1:1 |
| Portrait feed | 4:5, such as 1080 × 1350 |
| Landscape cover | Around 1.91:1 or the destination's required ratio |
| Presentation image | 16:9, such as 1920 × 1080 |
| Print poster | Final physical size, such as A4 or 2:3 |
For ecommerce, the source lists several 750–1000-pixel square examples. Actual marketplace requirements vary; check the listing channel rather than applying one minimum everywhere.
#Use real export controls
Do not assume the terms Fast/Pro/Ultra or a generic “4K” prompt establish official output options. Select the size the actual interface supports, then evaluate whether enlargement or other finishing is needed.
#Layout by purpose
For a product image, use an accurate subject, suitable clean background and balanced margins. For a social cover, reserve title space. For an article, keep the focal point clear. For presentation imagery, allow readable overlays. For print, check physical dimensions, pixel density, color workflow and bleed with the printer.
textCreate a portrait cover for [topic]. Place [subject] on the right. Reserve the left third for the title. Use [style/palette] and compose for 3:4.
#Whitespace
Reserve the side used by the headline, the top for a poster title, the bottom for details, the center for centered text or balanced margins for products.
textKeep the bottom 20% clear. Place the subject right and preserve left title space. Use a simple background suitable for text overlays.
#Multiple sizes
Optimize the main destination, then crop or extend through supported editing for derivatives. Review each result. A series specification can record subject position, text zone, margins and a central safe region.
#Finishing
Use appropriate design tools for exact text/logos, color corrections and layout. Choose PNG for lossless/alpha needs, JPG for suitable lighter opaque images and WebP where the destination supports it. Keep a high-quality source and review compression.
Preserve required provenance/watermark information; an invisible provenance mark is not a visible layout element to erase.
