ChatGPT Output Checklist
A fluent first impression is not enough to decide whether a draft is ready to publish. Use the same checks each time so that important problems are not missed.
#Review in this order
- Does the draft address the intended topic?
- Does the logic hold together?
- Are there factual risks?
- Does the tone fit the platform?
- Only then refine wording and flow.
Starting with word choice can leave the larger problems untouched.
#Does the content work?
Check for a clear answer to the topic, digressions and repeated paragraphs. Each paragraph should advance the argument, and the opening and ending should address the same issue.
#Facts and risk
Verify numbers and dates. Decide whether examples are real or merely plausible. Remove exaggerated claims and statements unsuitable for public release.
#Platform fit
Does the piece resemble content people expect on this platform? Is the length appropriate? Does the opening earn attention? Can the reader identify the main point immediately?
